IT BEGAN WITH A LEAF...
In 2010, my husband read a quote to me from The Holy Wild, by Mark Buchanan. The leaf, one among multiple billions, was described from the Creator’s standpoint, individually marked by its special design. This metaphor became a splinter in my mind, as Morpheus would say. Why do we provide one-size-fits-all leadership development? What do our particular spiritual gifts and skills mean for Kingdom impact? Over the next 10 years, we walked through many new doors as we trained cross-cultural workers. Every individual had their own stories and wounds, yet all with clear desires to take the gospel where it wasn’t. Just like the leaf, each was created and designed for beauty and purpose.

FAST FORWARD TO 2025...
Where Threshold was under-going surprising growth, even amidst relocation and transition for my family. I received calls about pending sabbaticals, job transitions, and professional help for women in ministry. Each request was from someone walking through a new door. I felt like I had both the expertise and experience to coach them.
I see through the ambiguity to action. I want to champion leaders when their confidence is low. I can help pastors create sustainability in their ministry.
AND EVEN IN THE CHANGING LEAVES...
God is creating something new. Just like the seasons of leaves, Threshold is a work in progress. We hope to build a greater team to fully coach and direct those who are stuck in various areas of transition and soul-care. We want to be WITH YOU, as we listen to what the Spirit is doing, acknowledging that His Voice will be loudest. He designed you with great purpose; with your faithful steps across thresholds, the Kingdom can come a little more here on Earth.
